Rossing named new Assistant Superintendent of Operations for MCPASD

The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is honored and excited to welcome Jerrud Rossing as our new Assistant Superintendent of Operations.

Rossing comes to MCPASD after spending 12 years at Monona Grove School District as their Director of Business Services.

During the Board of Educations Regular Meeting on February 28th, Jerrud formally introduced himself to our board members. He talked about his upbringing, mentioning that he grew up 40-minutes from Middleton on a dairy farm in Lone Rock, Wisconsin.

Rossing says his love of education is profound. His wife is a high school English teacher, and he has four beautiful children.

Rossing graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Agriculture Economics. After college, he didn’t start in education right away, but his love of working with students and giving back to his community helped guide him to this path. He got his start in education as a bookkeeper for Prairie Farm School District.

Rossing mentioned that he wanted to continue to pursue his career, and he received his student 08 license through the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. After that, he worked at Hudson School District as the Finance Manager.

Wanting to move back to the southern part of Wisconsin, Rossing started working at Monona Grove, where he has been ever since.

“As we got to know Jerrud through the hiring process, his warm and caring demeanor paired with his knowledge and expertise made him the ideal candidate for this position,” said Superintendent Dr. Dana Monogue.

Our current Assistant Superintendent of Operations, Lori Ames, will retire on June 30th, 2022
