Looking for all sorts of equipment? Then check out the latest surplus sale involving the District.

You can find the items on the Wisconsin Surplus website. Once you are on the page scroll down until you find the following link (item #21337-134). After you click on the link, you will be taken to a page with terms and other information, along with a link to a catalog and another link that has pictures of the items available.

Opening bids begin at $5. An auction buyer's fee will be added to all high bids to determine the final selling price. The buyers' fee percentage is determined by the actual amount of the final accepted high bid on each item.

More than a dozen entities are involved in this sale. There are more than 160 items available, including 54 from MCPASD, in the auction, which ends on Monday, April 19 at 10 a.m.

The sale includes the following: Briggs & Stratton 950 engines, circular saws, hand rollers, lot of small engine parts in a cabinet, wrenches, lawn mowers, snow blowers, and more. There are also lots of multiple Dell and Hewlett Packard monitors, audio-visual equipment, overhead projectors, docking stations and power cords, and file cabinets.

The District has held approximately 50 surplus auctions over the past few years and also has been part of multiple municipal auctions.

If you would like to inspect any of the items, you can view most of them at the District Operations Center, 2130 Pinehurst Dr., Middleton. They are available for viewing Monday through Friday. For information, contact Yvonne Vils at 829-2362.
