With the School Board’s decision to have middle school students in the Universal instructional model attend in-person four days a week starting on May 3, the District needs to find out if transportation needs for those families will change.

The transportation form is available at this link. Families will need their child’s student identification number to access the form. The student ID number is available in Campus Parent Portal. It was also included in an email sent on April 5 to families of middle school students.

The District is asking families to fill out this transportation form for each child in Glacier Creek or Kromrey middle schools. The form closes at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 12.

Updated bus routes for the May 3rd implementation, including pick-up and drop-off times and locations, for students in grades 5-8 should be available in Infinite Campus the week of April 26-30.

Families that are eligible for District transportation can request that a student be picked up, dropped off or both. If a child needs to be picked up or dropped off at a location different than a family's home address, families are asked to use the District's online tranpsortation form to include that information. Students will be picked up at on consistent location and dropped off at one consistent location.

Assistant Superintendent of Operations Lori Ames noted mitigation strategies that will continue to be put in places on District buses include:

  • Students and adults on buses will be required to wear a face covering, if medically able to do so.
  • Students will have assigned seats and will be physically distanced to the greatest extent possible.
  • Students from the same household will be seated together. There will also be cases where students from different households sit together.
