Looking for all sorts of metals and woods shop equipment? Then check out the District's latest surplus sale.

You can find the items on the Wisconsin Surplus website. Once you are on the page scroll down until you find the following link (item #21250-29). After you click on the link, you will be taken to a page with terms and other information, along with a link to a catalog and another link that has pictures of the items available.

Opening bids begin at $5. An auction buyer's fee will be added to all high bids to determine the final selling price. The buyers' fee percentage is determined by the actual amount of the final accepted high bid on each item.

There are nearly 20 items available in the auction, which ends on Tuesday, March 9 at 10 a.m.

The sale includes the following: anvil, bandsaw, slide miter saw, Sawstop table saw, sliding miter box saw, lathe, metal lathe, Forge Furnace, multiple oscillating spindle sanders, multiple drill presses, multiple welders and a tool cabinet.

The District has held approximatey 50 surplus auctions over the past few years and also has been part of multiple municipal auctions.

If you would like to inspect any of the items, you can view most of them at the District Operations Center, 2130 Pinehurst Dr., Middleton. They are available for viewing Monday through Friday. For information, contact Yvonne Vils at 829-2362.
