The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is excited to share that Kirsten Andreoni has been selected as the next principal of Northside Elementary School, effective July 1, 2026.
Andreoni will assume her new role when current principal Sylla Zarov retires after decades of service in public education.
Andreoni's career is rooted in the elementary classroom, where she taught grades 1-3 before expanding her experience as an instructional coach and, most recently, as associate principal at Patrick Marsh Middle School in the Sun Prairie Area School District. She received her bachelor’s in education from UW-Stevens Point and her master’s in education from Walden University.
What drew MCPASD to Andreoni is her deep belief that a school is the heartbeat of its community. She is committed to building genuine relationships with families and ensuring that every child feels known, safe, and supported. She views partnerships with caregivers as essential to student success, and she will work hard to build relationships and be a visible, welcoming presence at Northside.
MCPASD congratulates Andreoni on her role and welcomes her to the District. Andreoni and Zarov will work closely together in the coming months to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition for students, staff, and families.
