MCPASD is expanding safety training to the wider District community as we continue to work together on our top priority: keeping students and staff safe.
Safety and Security Coordinator Asher Torbeck has trained all schools and is continually training staff in the Standard Response Protocols. Additionally, our upcoming Safety and Security Information Night at Park Elementary School on Dec. 10 is open to all students, families, staff, and community members to learn about these measures and how the District approaches a variety of safety situations.
During the event, Torbeck and our school resource officers (SROs) will review the Standard Response Protocols as well as other security procedures. Local law enforcement officers will also share how their partnership with MCPASD keeps our community safe.
Childcare as well as pizza and snacks will be provided during the event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Families can register for the event via this form.
