The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is exploring ways to expand its adult education opportunities with the help of the Cross Plains Farmers Market.
The farmers market, located at 2020 Main St. in Cross Plains, has hosted District leaders on Wednesday afternoons throughout the summer from 4 to 6 p.m. Leaders answer questions about potential courses and programs and seek input from visitors about their areas of interest.
“I am very grateful for Jen Wankerl’s and the Cross Plains Farmers Market’s warm welcome,” said MCPASD Community Outreach Coordinator Amy Schernecker. “We are getting incredible feedback from community members who stop by to share their ideas and passions.”
The farmers market is open for two more days this summer on Aug. 20 and Aug. 27. In addition to providing feedback in person, MCPASD encourages community members to fill out its online survey to share input on their areas of interest.
