We are excited to welcome Raye LaFave into her new role as MCPASD’s Assistant Transportation Manager.
Raye has been with MCPASD for nearly 11 years, and she has served as a school bus driver, CDL trainer, and Department of Transportation Third Party CDL Examiner, providing services to our District, neighboring districts, and local businesses. Her deep knowledge of transportation and commitment to student safety have made her a trusted and valued member of our team.
Before her career in education, Raye spent six and a half years serving in the U.S. Navy. After her military service, she completed her bachelor’s degree in geography at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Raye is also a proud MCPASD parent. Two of her three children attended Glacier Creek Middle School and are Middleton High School graduates.
Three years ago, Raye was featured in our Behind the Wheel video, where she shared what it means to support students every day through safe and caring transportation. Watch the video.
“I’m thrilled to take on this new leadership role,” said Raye. “I look forward to continuing to grow the relationships I’ve built with MCPASD staff and families and to forming many new ones in the years ahead.”
Please join us in congratulating Raye on this well-deserved new chapter.
