Middleton High School had 22 musicians – the most from any school in the state – qualify for the 2025 Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) High School State Honors Project. The students are in 9th through 11 grades and represent Middleton High School’s band, choral, and orchestra programs.

Students from around the state auditioned in February for a panel of adjudicators. Students who qualified for the honors ensembles will participate in a four-day summer camp in June at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay and perform at the Overture Center in Madison in October as part of the Wisconsin State Music Conference.
