The District is asking families of middle and high school students to take a few minutes to complete this form if they want their child to switch instructional models for the second semester.

A reminder here are the two instructional learning models being offered:

  • Fully Virtual: Mostly independent learning at home all semester. Even if the School Board decides that students in grades 5-12 should return to school buildings at some point during the second semester, these students will remain at home and will not livestream into classrooms.
  • Universal: Synchronous learning sessions via Zoom or in-person when possible on an A-B daily schedule. If, or when, the School Board decides that students in grades 5-12 will return to school buildings, these students will come into school buildings for in-person learning 2-4 days a week.

Click here to access the form. We are asking families to complete the form now because it may result in some staffing changes or slight adjustments to student schedules. This is the ONLY time we will be allowing secondary students to change instructional models for the rest of the 2020-21 school year.

If your child plans to remain in their current instructional model, you do not need to complete the form.

The form must be completed by Tuesday, Dec. 1 at noon.
