Last night, MCPASD honored employees who are retiring at the end of this school year. Mr. Humphrey gave a quick speech about Park's three retirees, Heidi Wilson, Gayle Heiar and Cheryl Lueck.
All of us at Park are grateful for the years of service and dedication these three amazing people have given to our Park staff and students. They will all be greatly missed and we wish them the best in their retirement!

CUSTODIAN OF THE YEAR FINALIST | Congratulations to Rodney “Mr. Peanuts” Esser, custodian at Park Elementary School, for being a finalist in the national 2023 Custodian of the Year contest sponsored by Cintas Corporation. This contest recognizes custodians for all they do to help provide students with a clean and safe environment!
We need your help to get Mr. Peanuts enough votes for him to win the title of 2023 Custodian of year! The winner will receive $10,000 cash, $5,000 in Cintas and Rubbermaid products and training valued up to $30,000 from ISSA. New this year, the Top 3 finalists will also win an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas!

We wrapped up Literacy Week with a book parade and sing along!


It is Literacy Week and Park School staff have planned many exciting activities for the week, including visits from local authors, a book walk and a drop everything and read event.

Encore Showcase Night is set for April 27, 2023 from 5:00-7:30pm. More details to come. Mark your calendars now to attend this event showcasing a music show, art walk through the halls and Makers Space activities in the Cafe.

Bridging Brighter Smiles will be at Park Elementary on Monday, February 13th. If you would like to enroll your student for dental cleanings, see the flyer.


Students and staff participated in an all school assembly at Park on Friday, December 16th. We had a surprise visit from our Park Lion mascot as well!



After careful consideration, the district has decided to close all schools today, Thursday, December 15, 2022.
All extracurricular activities will be canceled today, as well.

Park Families, this Friday, December 2nd, is National Special Education Day! We are lucky to have three of these dedicated individuals here at our school. They work endlessly to ensure all of Park's population gets the education that they need and deserve. Ms. Blaha, Ms. Smith, and Mr. Wozniczka, we thank you for your diligence and commitment to our student's success! If you would like to send a treat in for one (or all) of our Special Education Specialists, they like:
Ms. Blaha - Swedish fish, almonds, Target, the Badgers, sticky notes and black coffee
Ms. Smith - brownies, chips and salsa, medium flare pens, Amazon, the Brewers, Mint and cinnamon Extra gum, flowers and coffee
Mr. Wozniczka - brownies, Dots pretzels, sticky notes, The Pig, Chipotle, The Bears, mint gum, Skittles and hot chocolate


Our West Middleton and Park Elementary testing sites will be open on Monday (1/17) and Friday (1/21). These sites will be closed from Tuesday - Thursday (1/18-1/20)
West Middleton Hours | 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Park Elementary Hours | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Our Clark Street Community School (CSCS) testing site remains open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including (1/17) for MLK Day.

Our food services team is responsible for food ordering, food storage, menu planning, food preparation, and food delivery.
Last night, at our Board of Education meeting, these women were honored with the “Above and Beyond” award for distinguished customer service. Thank you for being flexible and adaptive during this pandemic!
