Dear MCPASD Families,
I am proud to share some exciting news with you. The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District has earned, for the first time, the highest possible state rating, Significantly Exceeds Expectations, on the 2024–25 Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) school report cards.
This achievement reflects the incredible dedication of our students, staff, families, and community. Your ongoing partnership and support make a tremendous difference in helping our students thrive, and this recognition truly belongs to our entire MCPASD family.
Many of our schools saw remarkable growth this year. Park Elementary School made an impressive 10-point jump, moving from Exceeds Expectations to Significantly Exceeds Expectations. West Middleton Elementary School, Glacier Creek Middle School, and Middleton High School also advanced to the state’s top category, reflecting years of steady improvement and student success. Elm Lawn Elementary School and Pope Farm Elementary School maintained their Significantly Exceeds Expectations ratings, continuing their long-standing tradition of excellence. Sunset Ridge Elementary School, Northside Elementary School, and Kromrey Middle School remained strong in the Exceeds Expectations category, while Clark Street Community School showed great progress, moving up to Exceeds Expectations. Sauk Trail Elementary School continues to make steady growth toward its goals with a dedicated team of staff and families supporting every student.
