We're ecstatic to shine the Staff Spotlight on our very own Ms. Chris Rauch, affectionately known as Ms. Chris here at Park Elementary School. A devoted Special Education Para, Ms. Chris has dedicated the last 6 years to nurturing and empowering our students with her exceptional skills and unwavering patience.
Ms. Chris's contribution to Park Elementary extends beyond her current role. She has a longstanding history with our school, first serving as a volunteer while her three sons were students here. Her commitment to early education is evident from her decade-long experience teaching 4-year-old preschool, fostering the growth of countless young minds. Leadership is second nature to Ms. Chris, as she guided young minds and spirits while serving as a Cub Scout leader. She brings the same level of enthusiasm and diligence to her position at Park Elementary today.
Ask Ms. Chris about her favorite food, and you'll hear a delightfully indecisive response: there are simply too many to name! Her palate doesn't discriminate between the sweet and the salty; all delectable treats have a special place in her heart (and stomach!).
When not at school, Ms. Chris indulges in an array of activities that speak to her creative and adventurous spirit. Crafting and sewing are more than hobbies; they are a testament to her artistic flair, which also shines through in her professional environment. Her love for animals is evident in the care she provides to dogs. For Ms. Chris, tranquility and excitement find a perfect balance with time spent boating, while intellectual stimulation is nurtured through her love of reading and playing cards.
Perhaps what makes Ms. Chris most special is her magical touch—much like Mary Poppins. She has a unique talent for creating useful and whimsical objects out of odds and ends, a skill that delightfully brings joy and innovation into our learning spaces. Whether she's whipping up homemade fidgets or coming up with playful new learning aids, her creativity knows no bounds.
