Park Employee Spotlight | Emily Spahn: Bringing the Joy of Music to all Ages

Emily Spahn has been a dedicated music teacher at Park Elementary for eight years and is a cherished member of our school community. She is much loved and appreciated by her students, their parents, and fellow faculty members.

During her college years, she played the trombone and had incredible opportunities to travel across the United States as part of the renowned Badger Band. She even had the privilege of attending prestigious events such as the Rose Bowl, various bowl games, and the March Madness tournaments. These experiences have greatly influenced Emily's love for music and her passion for sharing it with others.

At Park Elementary, Emily's passion for music shines through in her teaching. She always works to ensure her students get the best musical education possible. She believes that music is vital to a child's educational development.

When Emily isn't teaching at Park Elementary, she can be found at West Middleton, where she also teaches music. Her favorite food is popcorn, iced chai tea latte, and anything with ginger. When she is not teaching music, she enjoys reading, going for walks with her dog, and watching her kids play sports and perform music.

Emily Spahn is a significant member of the Park Elementary community, a dedicated and passionate music teacher, and a shining star in the world of music education. She's taught hundreds of students throughout her time at Park Elementary, and she continues to positively impact the lives of those she teaches. Emily is a true example of someone who has found their calling in life, and she brings joy and inspiration to everyone she meets.
