The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is proud to announce seven honorees for Middleton High School’s Athletics Hall of Fame. Class of 2026 inductees include athletes John Turcott, Susie Topp, and Brooks Braga; coaches John Boyle and Kurt Gundlach; Middleton High School’s 1998, 1998 and 1999 boys golf team; and long-time supporter Joann Meyers.
Honorees and their families will be recognized in a pregame reception and a pregame ceremony on the field at the Cardinals’ homecoming football game at the Borden Athletic Complex on Sept. 25. Inductees’ photos and biographies will be displayed on the Hall of Fame wall at the stadium.
This marks the third year Middleton High School has selected Hall of Fame members. Honorees are chosen by a selection committee that includes Middleton High School’s Athletic Department, head coaches, community members, and alumni athletes.
“We’re proud to have a strong selection committee guiding our efforts to recognize the contributions and achievements of Middleton High School’s top athletes, coaches, teams and supporters,” said Middleton High School Athletic Director Brad Crandell. “We have a long tradition of athletic excellence and outstanding support from the Middleton and Cross Plains communities. We look forward to celebrating our honorees and sharing their stories with the big crowd at our homecoming football game.”
