Earlier this year, Middleton High School’s Debate Team wrapped up a successful season and clinched the Varsity Public Forum Debate Champions title for the fourth consecutive year!
Throughout the season, Middleton High School’s Debate team had six varsity and two junior varsity teams qualify for state. Below is a recap of individuals’ placements at the state tournament in West Bend.
Varsity Public Forum speaker awards:
1st place: Crystal Huang
3rd place: Vivian Liang
Varsity Public Forum final places:
1st place: Crystal Huang and Vivian Liang. Through the six rounds, Crystal and Vivian went 5-1 as a duo to win the Public Forum Championship.
Quarter finalists: Sai Kandukuri and Nathan Jerin finished with a record of 4-2.
Junior Varsity speaker awards:
8th place: Rianna Jain
