Meet Jenny VonBergen! She is a 5th-grade school counselor at Glacier Creek!
The week of Feb. 7-11, 2022, is known as National School Counseling Week, a time for counselors to advocate for their profession and help people understand how vital they are to our school system. It's also a time to thank them for their selfless service to our staff, students, and families.
She started out as a middle school math teacher. It was there that she knew she had a heart for education but also a passion for supporting students beyond the classroom.
Jenny loves her job and is grateful she can help students work through big emotions and set themselves up for success. She understands that teaching students healthy social-emotional learning skills is a team effort. She credits the awesome staff at Glacier Creek for their help in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students.
