Teacher Ross Cohen and the Garden Lab seminar were recently featured in the May Fork Full of Knowledge Newsletter for their work in hydroponic growing and community engagement.
Through the use of Flex Farms, students participate in hands-on learning experiences centered around sustainability, food access, and teamwork while growing fresh produce within the school. The program also supports the local community by donating harvested produce to a food pantry.
We are proud to see the innovative work happening in Garden Lab recognized by Fork Farms and celebrated as part of their mission to expand access to fresh food through hydroponic farming.
Next week, students will be harvesting and donating greens from the tower. Stay tuned for a social media post highlighting their work and the impact they are making in our community!
