When it comes to school safety, Laura knows her stuff!
We are proud to share that earlier this year Middleton High School Custodial Night Lead, Laura Waite, won the 2023 Saftey Room Challenge at the Wisconsin Association Of School Business Officials (WASBO) Custodial & Maintenance conference!
The contest included a room full of simulated safety concerns, including trip hazards and improper placement of ladders. Laura and her team were able to successfully identify and correct the most hazards!
The simulation was just one of many great learning experiences for Laura. During the conference, guests also learned practical and hands-on knowledge that they can bring back to their role at their school district.
We love to see that our staff never stop learning. Congratulations once again to Laura!
