Hello! My name is Peg Shoemaker, and I am incredibly honored and delighted to serve as the principal of this truly extraordinary high school. My journey at Middleton High School began when I was named interim principal in June of 2019. I officially became the proud principal of Middleton High School in January of 2020!

My professional life has been an enriching adventure. Over the past 28 years, I have been privileged to work and grow in the esteemed Hudson School District. My transition from a business career to an education-focused one proved to be incredibly rewarding. I spent a decade teaching special education and elementary-level students.

Realizing my innate passion for shaping young lives, I pursued an administrative degree and embarked on an 18-year journey as a principal. The most recent six years were spent at Hudson High School, where I honed my leadership skills and laid the foundation for my current role at Middleton High School.

Every single day, I find myself in awe of our talented students, dedicated staff, and the ever-supportive Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District. Our collective commitment towards cultivating a nurturing environment that fosters academic growth, creativity, and personal development is nothing short of inspiring.

As a united community, we strive to empower each other, celebrate unique experiences, and shape the bright leaders of tomorrow.
