Wisconsin’s WORKnet provides you with a number of tools including occupation searches, wage comparisons and information on non-traditional and apprenticeship jobs. 

The Job Center of Wisconsin offers tools to complete interest surveys, search for jobs, and build resumes and job applications. It also offers career planning tools and labor market information to keep you up-to-date with the latest trends and information in Wisconsin.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook allows you to search occupations by occupation type, pay rate, education level, training, number of new jobs and growth rate. It also features occupations to help you learn about other career opportunities.

Writing a Resume

Boston College provides sample resumes, resume action words and suggestions to ensure that your resume is noticed by employers. 

Monster provides over 100 articles on resume writing and tips as well as providing over 100 different samples of resumes to help guide you in your own resume writing process. 

Purdue University offers resume writing tips, a sample resume, design suggestions and advice to pass the “20 second test” of employers.   

Interview Skills

Monster provides articles on interview preparation, questions, appearance and following up after an interview.
