Other Fundraising Opportunities…

Each year the West Middleton PTO participates in several ongoing fundraisers that require very little effort on the part of parents and staff. These programs usually involve saving specially marked product labels, box tops, and milk caps, or simply shopping at Target. Please take a moment to read about the programs below, as they require just a few minutes of your time and are a great way to get grandparents and other family members involved in our fundraising efforts. For questions regarding any of the following programs, contact Carla Mondi.

General Mills Box Tops for Education :

Clip and save box tops with the “Box Top for Education” logo from participating General Mills, Yoplait, Betty Crocker, and Lloyds products (to name a few). The school earns 10¢ for every box top collected. Of course we appreciate neatly clipped Box Top logos, but tearing off the entire box top works just as well. Just be sure not to rip the logo or the expiration date. Box Tops for Education are appearing on more and more products, so check out boxtops4education.com for a complete list of participating products. We also earn box tops every time someone registers on their website.

Milk Caps, Milk Caps, and More Milk Caps :

Basically, if your milk cap has writing on it…send it in. We currently participate in the following programs: Kwik Trip Milk Moola, Kemps Nickels for Schools, Kid$ Cap$ and Ca$h, and Swiss Valley Cash for Caps. For each of these programs, the school earns 5¢ for every cap collected.

Kwik Trip Milk Moola:
Collect milk caps, tops from bagged milk, price labels from Glazer boxes, as well as caps from most Nature's Touch beverages.

Kemps Nickels for Schools:
Collect milk caps, as well as proof of purchase symbols from many Kemps products such as sour cream.

Kid$ Cap$ and Ca$h:
Collect caps from specially-marked gallon and ½ gallon containers of Deans, Golden Guernsey and Morning Glory milk.

Swiss Valley Farms Cash for Caps:
Collect caps from gallons and ½ gallons of white milk.

Take Charge of Education

Anyone who has a Target Card or Target Visa Card, can designate our school to receive a percentage of the total purchases made with the card.

Through the Take Charge of Education program, Target donates an amount equal to 1% of purchases made at Target stores or at Target.com and ½% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere. For more information on this program or to designate West Middleton Elementary as your recipient, please visit Target.com
