West Middleton Garden Club

The West Middleton Garden Club works on various projects throughout the year to
beautify the grounds of West Middleton. In 2009, the Wisconsin Landscape Contractor
Association approved West Middleton as their annual civic project. With the help of the
WM PTO funding a portion of the project, they designed and created an outdoor
classroom, paths throughout the prairie, butterfly garden, and a labyrinth.

The committee also helps maintain the flower gardens in the front entrance and on the
playground. With approval, the garden committee can take on new projects in the
coming year to enhance the grounds of West Middleton.

The fall of 2010, Girl Scout Troop 2643 enjoyed a little clean-up throughout the grounds
of West Middleton and planted hundreds of spring bulbs to bring a little sunshine to the
school.

Chair Responsibilities
To help maintain the gardens of West Middleton by working with local companies to
supply new plants, supplies, etc. Organizing a team of volunteers to weed, plant, and
winterize the gardens for the spring.
