Classroom PTO Representative Responsibilities

*Organize Classroom Baskets for the Winter Auction

*Assist in recruiting volunteers for PTO Events (Carnival, Winter Tea, Back to School Dance, etc.)

*Contact classroom parents for sign-up for teacher breakfast/lunch (one month throughout the school year per grade level)

*Forward emails sent through the PTO to parent's in classroom

The PTO representative is a go-between between the classroom teacher's and the PTO, helping get the word out to parents of upcoming events, and taking the responsibility away from the teachers.  The majority of the work associated with being the PTO representative is via email with an estimate of a total of five hours throughout the school year.
