Positive Behaviors

On this page you will find a link to the West Middleton Winners behavior matrix. This matrix covers our school expectations in environments outside the classroom. Teachers cover each of these environments with their students during the first week of school, and return to them often throughout the year. These expectations are the first tier of Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, and is what we feel can be met by all students at least 85% of the time. Further training for staff will address tiers 2 and 3 in coming years, which is to provide interventions for a small percentage of students, also in line with the code of conduct.
