Emergent Spanish for Educators

Instructor: Rafael Gomez

This class will provide participants with skills needed to make an easy transition from English only to Emergent Spanish and have fun while doing it. The instructor will assist participants in becoming more comfortable using Spanish to communicate. Participants will be getting reinforcement on correct pronunciation, construction of basic statements and conversing in Spanish with instructor. Participants will discover success by embedding skills of second language learner. It will be easier to carry out a conversation with students/parents who are ELL.

Dates: June 25 - 29, OR July 16 - 20, or July 30 - August 3 OR August 13 - 17, 2012

Location: Middleton High School

Credit: 3 Graduate Credits or MCPASD Professional Development Hours

Cost: $650.00 for 3 graduate credits, No Cost for PD Hours
