MHS students learn from movie experts
MHS students got the opportunity to meet and work with professional movie makers on Monday.
Reuben James Steindorf, a 3D animator, director, writer, producer, editor and cinematographer, along with Andrew Steindorf, a special makeup effects artist & movie lighting director, gave presentations of special makeup effects, lighting design, 3D animation and editing.
They also gave the students a sneak peek into the upcoming horror/thriller movie "Sycophant" that is being produced in Wisconsin. Former MHS students Allie Redmond and Fernando Mora are cast members in the movie. For more information, visit the movie's website.
Three students had their face molded in plaster and will have their very own latex movie mask, MHS media production coordinator Dea Kruger said.
Reuben Steindorf is the owner of Vision Realm Productions, which is an award-winning production company of feature films and television. The studio is located in La Crosse.
