Can you spell P-H-I-L-A-N-T-H-R-O-P-Y?
The participants in the district's annual spelling bee need your help.
Each year, students in fourth through eighth grade compete in the spelling bee. Classroom and school bees determine the 100 students who will compete at the MCPASD bee in January.
In order for hundreds of our students to have the opportunity to participate at the school level, we need to register each school with Scripps. Unfortunately, the funds for this event are not available through the schools; that is why we are asking you to consider donating personally or through your business.
We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support we have received in the past in support of this event. However, we are out of funds and are hoping that the generosity of Middleton-Cross Plains Area parents and businesses will again help support this worthwhile cause.
Any amount is welcomed and greatly appreciated! The cost to register each school is $115.
All donors will be recognized in the spelling bee program. It would be wonderful if donations were received by Oct.1 so we may register the school before the deadline.
If you are interested in donating, or you know a business who is willing to donate, please send a check (written out to MCPASD) to:
