Welcome to the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District!

In accordance with the MCPASD's Admission Policy, any child who physically resides in the District for a purpose other than school attendance may be considered a resident student and may be eligible for tuition-free admission to the District's schools. Please see our Registration Procedure to find out how to enroll.

The district encompasses 68 square miles, and includes the City of Middleton, the Village and Town of Cross Plains, and portions of Madison, Verona, Waunakee, Berry and Westport. The estimated population is 28,300.

Students in grade kindergarten through 5 attend one of six elementary schools. Students at Northside Sauk Trail and Elm Lawn Elementary attendance areas attend Kromrey Middle School. Students in the Park, West Middleton and Sunset Ridge Elementary attendance areas attend Glacier Creek Middle School. All students attend either Middleton High School or Middleton Alternative Senior High (MASH).
