Model U.N. meets on a weekly basis in preparation for upcoming area conferences.  Two area conferences are the American Model U.N. conference held in Chicago each November and the Wisconsin Model U.N. conference held at UW-Milwaukee in March.  Other conferences are held all across the country and as far away as The Hague, Netherlands.  Conference selection is greatly dependent on the money raised and a good portion of time would be spent raising funds.  There is no limit to the number of students who can participate in a Model U.N. In addition to preparing for conferences, club members also teach other students about the United Nations by presenting in classrooms, sponsoring speakers on international affairs, and attending related programs and lectures held in the area.
