The MHS Key Club is sponsored by the Middleton Kiwanis Club and is a part of Key Club International, the largest community service organization for high school students in the country. Through service, Key Club seeks to better the community while developing student leaders. Student leaders and members develop and organize projects which have included helping out at Special Olympics events, assisting the YMCA with family events, working at school carnivals, and volunteering at area run/walks (such as the Crazy Legs, and Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis). Club members also plan and run the annual Halloween Food Drive for the Middleton Outreach Ministry, bake cookies for the Ronald McDonald House, and many other exciting projects. Key Club meets every Friday morning at 7:15 AM in the PAC. Dues are assessed for international, state, and local fees.
