These ensembles are selected by audition in September and perform in concert and in competitions.  The two premier events are the annual Jazz Cabaret in January and the Jazz Tracks concert in May.  Wind, brass, and percussion students must be enrolled in band to participate, while keyboard players, bassists, and guitarists can be from the general student body.  Practices are held on Mondays from 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM and 7:15 PM - 9:15 PM. Audition materials are distributed the first week of school.
