IMAGINE began as a peer education program aimed at preventing sexual assault, sexual harassment, and sexism.  IMAGINE members participate in a training that teaches them to examine gender equity issues and to challenge sexual violence.  The group’s focus has expanded to issues surrounding young women that are related to having a healthy mind, body and spirit. Student members help in creating educational programs for the student body regarding: Having a healthy body image, stress relief, fun ways to exercise, strong role models, volunteerism, making healthy choices in relationships, leadership skills, and much more.  All students including both shy and outgoing, benefit from this group by making new friends and stepping out of comfort zones. Some of the programs we have done in the past include: Sexual violence/dating violence awareness, knitting to distress, belly dancing, volunteering in the community, discussion groups and sponsoring speakers. All students and ideas are welcome.
