MHS Homecoming parade winners announced

The best of the best of the Middleton High School Homecoming parade were announced on Wednesday.

The Drama Club captured Best Theme, while FCCLA won for Best Performance. The Most Creative entry belonged to the Photo Club.

The winners were announced during lunch hour at MHS. You can view the winners on the district's YouTube channel.

Full coverage of the parade will be available later this week, while a Homecoming highlights video will be available starting Oct. 23.

Meanwhile, Spirit Night festivities from Homecoming week are now available for viewing.

Segments in the 15-minute telecast include:

* A look at the new Clark Street Community School.

* The recent announcement that MHS had 13 National Merit semifinalists.

* Sunset Ridge being named a national Blue Ribbon School award winner.

* An interview with artist Jeff Butler, whose work is currently being displayed at MHS Gallery 2000.

* An updated on the fall sports season and a look at Homecoming with Athletic Director Bob Joers.
