8th Grade Conferences

Hello 8th Grade Families, 

Each year, our 8th grade parents and guardians participate in an 8th Grade Planning Conference with their student. 8th Grade Planning Conferences are designed to focus on your student's academic, personal, and career development. This year, our counselors will be offering group planning conferences as an alternative to individual conferences. These group conferences will take place during the school day and will include up to ten 8th grade students, their parents or guardians, and one school counselor. Your involvement in this conference is very important!

Conference letters were mailed on November 17th (block R and remaining block B-those that have Academic & Career Planning 2nd quarter) regarding how to set up your appointment. Please do not discard this letter as you may need to reference it in the future.  

Block W students and those in block B that had Academic & Career Planning 1st quarter, have been completed.

Block R and remaining block B families who have not signed up by November 30th, will be assigned a remaining time slot.  Conferences will begin after winter break beginning January 4th

If you child is in block R or block B-that is currently in Academic & Career Planning and you have not received your letter, please contact the student services office at sprest@mcpasd.k12.wi.us or 829-9538 to see if your child was selected for an individual or group conference.
