Thank you for clicking the Glacier Creek web site and learning about our school and me.

I have been part of the Leadership Team in the MCPASD for the past 12 years.  This is my 30th year as an educator. My work as the Principal at Glacier Creek Middle School started this past January after leaving my position at Kromrey Middle School as the Associate Principal. Prior to joining the district, I worked in a variety of teaching and leadership positions in Minnesota, as a Special Education teacher in secondary schools and as a Teacher on Special Assignment and Intern Assistant Principal in a K to 8 Minneapolis Public School.

First impressions are always important and I continued to be impressed with not only the educational and emotional strength in our students, but also the staff and families I have met here at Glacier Creek. My personal goals are simple – I expect people to work hard and be nice to each other. In order for this to happen, I always need to keep an open mind, continue to push my own personal learning and help provide supports for those I work for. Middle grade students come each day with the wonder of childhood and on most days a mindset of being a young adult. This keeps our job challenging, but also very rewarding. The growth in these years is phenomenal to witness.
