Gifted & Talented Resource Teacher

I have worked in the Middleton-Cross Plains District as a Resouce Teacher for Gifted & Talented Students for 16 years at Glacier Creek and for five years at Kromrey Middle School. Before that I taught English at Middleton High School and middle school English and reading at St. James Elementary School in Madison. I really enjoy my role in both middle schools because I am able to bring new opportunites to students and to work with such great kids!


I have a B.A. in English from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. I grew up in Madison and now live with my family in the near westside neighborhood where I grew up. Most of my family members (mom, dad and brother) are all teachers so education is a common conversation topic in our family.
